Leveling

You gain experience by killing monsters and finishing quests. The highest level is 99.

A level is about 5 + 3 × your level kills of monsters at your own level: 8 at level 1, 20 at level 5, 35 at level 10.
Monsters above your level give more: +10% per level, up to +50%. Ones below give 10% less per level, down to 10%.
Everyone who hits a monster gets the full experience for it, so fighting together doesn't cost you anything.
Dying costs 5% of what your current level needs, but you never lose a level. You wake up in the village after 5 seconds.
Out of combat you heal 2% of your max HP every second. Mana refills all the time, a little faster each level.
Every level gives you a skill point to spend in the skill tree (K). See your class on Classes.
Every level after the first also gives you three attribute points (C) and a passive point for your class's passive tree (P).
